I recently purchased my first home with the assistance of Arlene Heck. I had a lot of anxiety about the biggest purchase of my life, but Arlene made the process painless and even fun! In countless ways, Arlene went above and beyond anything I expected a realtor to do for me. I can’t recommend her enough!
As a first-time home buyer, I was pursued by several high-pressure realtors who wanted my business. Yet they would downplay my questions and concerns about a particular home, just chasing the quick sale. I was discouraged. Then I met Arlene Heck; Arlene really listened to my desires and concerns. She went the extra-mile to find out answers to all of my questions and to present different options. She was honest and realistic, yet always encouraging.
One of the tools that Arlene made available to me was e-mail access to online listings. Arlene matched what I was looking for with the local listings, and daily I would receive e-mail links to new matches. With my crazy and variable schedule, it was great to be able to look through the listings on e-mail --- when I had the time. I could look at photographs and specifications online, and then e-mail questions and requests back to Arlene.
When it came to actually making an offer and handling all of the paperwork, Arlene was fantastic! She went through the forms with me and explained everything in terms I could understand and be comfortable with. I never felt I was signing something I didn’t understand. Arlene made sure that I was able to make informed decisions.
When I say that Arlene went above and beyond my expectations, I mean it. She would come to my home or work, whatever was most convenient for me. She coordinated all of the home inspections and made sure that everyone was doing their job in a timely fashion. She updated me regularly, giving me peace of mind. After I closed, Arlene didn’t disappear. She was the first one to stop by and bring a housewarming gift. She even coordinated and hosted an open house so I could meet my neighbors!

You graciously explained the process of selling a house in a language that John and I understood. To my surprise you even explained the commission, how it works and how you are paid. This was very impressive. Most companies, employees, and self-employed individuals would never explain this in fear that they may reveal something unappealing to the person on the other side of the table. At that point we felt you would always be forthcoming and would not hide things from us to protect your chances of a sale.
